Friday, November 5, 2021 , Raymond (Ray) Marshall Tappan, 43, of Panama City, passed away unexpectedly at his home.  He is survived by his mother, Barbara B. Tappan and siblings, Jordan (Kadarious), Brenda, Andrew (Rachel).  Ray was preceded in death by his father, Gordon L. Tappan, aunt Cheryl Gaudiano, grandmother, Mary Lee Arnold Tappan, and grandfather, James M. Bookout.  He attended Lyman Ward Military Academy and Gulf Coast Community College.  He was self-employed as a day trader and enjoyed playing the guitar, video games, drinking beer and listening to music.  Ray leaves behind many extended family members and numerous friends.  He was a loving son and brother.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 with visitation at 9 a.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel and services at 10 a.m.  Graveside services will follow at the Westville Cemetery at 1 p.m.
