RAYMOND JOSEPH FRADETTE

Raymond Joseph Fradette, 82, of Panama City, died Sunday, January 14, 2007 at his home. He was born on May 18, 1924 in Lincoln Park, Michigan. He had been a resident of Panama City since 1958 moving from France. He retired as First Lieutenant from the U.S. Air Force after serving 22 years and later retired from the Civil Service after 20 years at Tyndall. He was a member of St. Dominic's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus where he was a past Grand Knight and the financial secretary. He was also a member of the Air Force Association and the Retired Officers Association. He was preceded in death by his son, Bruce Alan Fradette and two brothers, Ronald Fradette and Lewis Fradette. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Ellen Fradette, three daughters, Theresa Fradette, of Lynn Haven, Denise Cole and her husband, Lamar, of Weaverville, North Carolina, Andrea Beauchamp and her husband, Dennis, of Mildenhall, England, son, Jeffery Fradette and his wife Paula, of Houston, Texas, six grandchildren, Laurajean Reams, Veronica Wright-Durham and her husband, Jimmy, Brandi Cowden and her husband, Fred, Ashley Beauchamp, Jared Fradette and Zachary Fradette, six great grandchildren, six sisters, Viola Henry, of Maggie Valley, North Carolina, Leola Emery, Allen Park, Michigan, Ursula Johnson, of Oakhurst, California, Shirley Hillyer, of Maggie Valley, North Carolina, Leahbelle D'Anna and her husband, Nick, of Waynesville, North Carolina, Eileen Wilson and her husband Bill, of Riverview, Michigan and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery with military honors conducted at the graveside. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m. with a rosary service at 7 p.m.
The Knights of Columbus will provide an honor guard for the visitation on Wednesday. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405.
