RAUZELLE MARCHANT SPANN
Rauzelle Marchant Spann, 93, of Parker, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2014. She was born on September 29, 1920 in Sneads, Florida. She was an underpresser for a dress factory and also a certified nursing assistant. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Spann, Jr. and her brother, Maurice Marchant. She is survived by her four children, Michael Spann, Melody Gottlieb, James R. Spann, Ernest Lee Spann and their spouses; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one brother, Buran Marchant; and three sisters, Evelyn Burk, Betty Jean Walsh and Dorothy McNeill. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Parker (casual attire welcome). Interment will follow in Parker Cemetery. Viewing will be on Monday at the funeral home from 3 – 5 p.m. Honorary pallbearers are Steve Marchant, Rick Reinstatler, Matthew Reinstatler, Kevin Sears, Jonathan Spann, Mike Spann, Thomas Martini, Brian Walsh, Roger Walsh and Jay Strickland.
