RALPH LEON YOUNG

Ralph Leon Young, 85, of Panama City, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2007. He was born on February 24, 1922 in Plant City, Florida and had been a resident of Panama City since 1945. He was a retired pipe fitter and welder for Local Union 366. He was a member of the St. Andrew Masonic Lodge #212 and a lifelong member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Nadia Young, sons, Harold Sanders and his wife Debbie, Richard Young and his wife Julie, all of Panama City, daughter, Lisa Wiedenhoeft and her husband Robbie, of Nashville, TN, brother, Melbourne Young and his wife Gladys, of Panama City, 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bob Hayes officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Ralph Young. The family would like to thank Dr. Victor Ortega and staff, Dr. Bussie Evans and staff, Dr. Ben Hasty and staff, Covenant Hospice and Community Healthcare for their excellent care.
