Racheal Felicia Smith, 57, of Panama City Beach, FL passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 surrounded by family and friends. She was born on February 22, 1967 in Annapolis, Maryland. Throughout her 35 year career as Assistant Manager at the Days Inn Panama City Beach, she made numerous friends and touched the lives of so many. She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Papa and her sister, Galita Steinmetz. She is survived by her loving husband, Simon Peter Smith; her mother, Sara Welch; brother, John Papa, nephew Jordan Papa and half brother, Darren Papa. She was also survived by her two precious Maltese babies, Lita and Dinky. The family is most grateful for the gift of friends, to include Shelly, Gary, Mike, Jason, Walter and Liza and many others. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 12 noon in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 5-7 pm at Wilson Funeral Home. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
