Philip J. Dicalogero, 82, of Panama City Beach, Florida passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on November 21, 2019. He was born January 3, 1937 in Lawrence, Massachusetts to Jimmy and Antonietta DiCalogero. He dearly loved growing up in Lawrence in the 40's and 50's where he had great memories, great friends, and great family. Phil was educated with an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Northern Essex CC. He enlisted in the US Air Force and served his country in Korea, and was honorably discharged. Returning home from his enlistment, he worked 30 years for Western Electric/AT&T. Upon his retirement he relocated his family to Panama City Beach, Florida and worked for the Clerk of the Circuit Court in Bay County, Florida for seventeen years as a Job Classification and Job Procedure writer, and finally retired at the age of 72 working part-time in the mailroom. Phil is a Christian and is now with the Lord. A devoted husband, father and grandfather he leaves his beloved wife of 60 years, Karen (Stone) DiCalogero of Panama City Beach; his two daughters, Teresa DiCalogero of Panama City, Donna Huskey and her husband, Kevin, of Harvest, Alabama; his son, Philip DiCalogero of Las Vegas, Nevada; three wonderful grandchildren, Sarina DiCalogero, Chris Huskey and Ryan Huskey. He also leaves sisters, Rose Campagnone, Gena Mical and her husband, Mike; also brother to the late Phylis Canty, Josie DiCalogero, Mary Hervieux and Eleanor DiCalogero. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 1 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Ellison officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12 to 1 p.m. one hour prior to service time.
