Peggy Jo May
1927 - 2009
Peggy Jo May, 82, of Panama City Beach, Fla., passed away Friday, Oct. 16, 2009 at the home of her daughter Jackie Ullman. She was surrounded by her loving devoted family.
Our Mother was born in Bay Minette, Alabama, and became a resident of Panama City in March of 1964. She was a member of the Gulf Beach Baptist Church, where she was Treasurer of the Sunshine Class. She made family gatherings special with her home cooking and loved to sew and played a mean game of cards.
She was preceded in death by her parents Fred Albert Adams and Lucille Carrie Adams; husband, James Victor May; daughter, Mary Lynn May; brothers Fred Adams, Charles Adams, and Douglas Adams. Our Mother leaves to cherish her memories to her eight children; Melody Keene, Vicky Brown and husband James Brown, Jimmy May and former wife, Linda May, Jackie Ullman, Marsha Maggiore and husband Dr. Jay Maggiore, Becky Cox and husband Calvin Cox, Amy Wiebers and husband Gary Wiebers, and J.D. May all of Panama City; 19 grandchildren Tracey Brown, Thad Brown, Kevin Keene, Katie Keene, Keri Keene, Sabrina Bisordi, Felicity Perez, James May, Damon May, Jared May, Jo Ashley May, Michael Maggiore, Melissa Maggiore, Chad Cox, Casey Cox, Frankie Brown, Brandi Brown, Victoria Wiebers, Morgan Wiebers; 15 great grandchildren, Samantha Brown, Garrett Keene, Anthony Bisordi, Nicolas Bisordi, Isabella Bisordi, Gabriella Bisordi, Malia Perez, Anica Perez, Levi Perez, Marissa May, Luke Maggiore, Macy Maggiore, Bayleigh Cox, soon to be born Alexis Cox and Jeremiah May-Neves and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009 at Wilson Funeral Home. A celebration of Peggy's life will begin on Sunday, Oct 18, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gregory George officiating.
