Pedro Ramon Velez-Rosas, 98 years, born May 19, 1922 in Hormigueros, Puerto Rico, resident of Panama City, Fl. He went to meet the Lord on June 8, 2020 from the Sims Veterans Nursing Home.  He served in the United States Army during World War II. He retired from the United States Postal Service.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Catalina Velez and his brother Bienvenido Velez.  He is survived by his children, Alma Culver (Randy Culver) and Hector R. Velez (Edith Fuste); 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and 2 sisters.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the St. Peter and St. Paul Catholic Church with Father Anthony Nguyen officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Interment will follow the service in the Catholic Cemetery.
