Pauline Houston Tidwell, 93, of Panama City, FL passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022. She was born on October 13, 1928 in Elba, Alabama. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Callaway. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Recer M Tidwell; her parents, John and Myrtis Houston; three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by two sons, Jerome Tidwell (Sandi), Darrell Tidwell (Julie); five grandchildren, Jeremy Tidwell (Patti), Ragan Tidwell (Rhonda), Lindsay Adkins, Rachel Griffin (Mark), John Tidwell (Abbie); fifteen great grandchildren, Keelan, Riley Kate, Brody, Isabella, Zoe Kate, Olivia, Savanna, Jordan, Khia, Justice, Leah, Luke, Allicynn, John Recer, Jaxson; one sister, Edna McIntosh; sister-in-law Norma Jean Houston; brother-in-law Dorse Sherrill; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 2 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jessie Dasher officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1-2 pm prior to the service.
