PAUL DAVID SCOTT
Paul "David" Scott, 45, of Panama City, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011. He was born April 9, 1966 and had been a resident of Bay County for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Scott and father-in-law, Jerry George, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Darlene "Niki" George Scott; three children, Nicholas Lee Scott, Meaghan Rebecca Scott, Matthew Ryan Scott; mother, Betty Scott; mother-in-law, Carolyn George; two sisters, Rhonda Leonard and husband Brad, Gina Bell and husband Jason; brother-in-law, Jerry George Jr.; sister-in-law, Trina Stone and husband Frankie; four nephews and four nieces, Rachael Leonard, Michael, Christopher and Tiffany Bell, Jenna George, Kadey Purvis and husband Jamie, and Joshua and Phillip Stone; great nephew, Gavin Stone and great niece, Isabella Reynolds. Dave was very devoted to his wife and kids. They were his life. He had a great sense of humor and touched many lives. He will be greatly missed by all and most especially by his loving wife and children. He was a tugboat captain for 21 years and 18 years of that he worked for Kirby Inland Marine. During those 18 years, Dave had made many friends. He was very dedicated to his job and thoroughly enjoyed what he did. He was very proud to be a tugboat captain. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
