PAUL MASON

Paul Mason, 77, of Southport, died Monday, October 27, 2008 in his home. He was born September 4, 1931 in Bay County, FL. He was a retired supervisor with the Bay County Road Department. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Jessie Mason, sister, Mazie Lemieux and 2 brothers, Lowell Mason and Norman Mason. He is survived by his wife, Emma Mason; daughter, Melissa Dahl and husband Cody; 2 sons, Matthew Mason, Sydney Mason; 2 stepdaughters, Barbara Close, Mandy Barnes; sister, Mary Clark; 12 grandchildren, Lisa Marlow, Shannon Burch, James Burch, Jessica Barnes, Brianna Barnes, Gavin Mason, Logan Dahl, Alana Dahl, Brandy Mason, Sandy Baker and husband Brian, Chris Mason and 4 great grandchildren, Madison, Truex, Blake and Mackenzie. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church of Southport. Interment will follow in the Southport Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
