Paul Lucas "Luke" Vickers, 33, of Panama City, FL passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023. He was born on December 4, 1990 in Panama City. He was a 2008 honors graduate from Bozeman High School where he played on the football and baseball team. Luke, with the help of his mother had become a proficient gardener and learned the art of canning vegetables and fruit. Conversely, he was always interested in knowing how everything mechanical worked and was always ready to tinker with anything that would run. Luke enjoyed the outdoors and was always excited when hunting season began. He was just as excited when someone else was successful hunting as if it was his own success. He is survived by his parents, Jimmy Alan Vickers Sr. & Jo Pat Vickers; one brother, Jimmy Vickers Jr.; four uncles, Joe Vickers, Terry Vickers, Bob Moore, J.R. Harrell; two aunts, Ann Bailey Moore, Joan Harrell; six cousins, Britt Bailey Moore, Melissa Bailey Moore, James Harrell, Allie Sweeney, Aaron Vickers, Jo Jo Vickers; two second cousins, Jerry King and Larry King of Waco, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 1 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12-1 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
