Patrick "Pat" Crawford was born in Birmingham, Alabama and attended school there. During the Korean Conflict, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served his country for four years before being Honorably Discharged in 1954. Pat entered into a career of commercial aviation including 25 years of service with Southern Airways/Republic Airlines. After retiring from the airline business he continued flying as a pilot for the Kimberly-Clark Corporation. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick Joseph & Loretta Slade Crawford Sr. Pat is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Shirley Hilley Crawford, his son Patrick J. Crawford III, daughter, Julia Barrosso and husband Armindo, and his grandson Patrick J. Crawford IV. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society 1600 Bay Avenue, Panama City, FL 32405
