Patricia Ann (Pat) Rubash Murfee, 94, lifelong resident of St. Andrew, passed away on February 11, 2022.  She was born on June 13, 1927 to Joe and Mary Rubash of St. Andrew.  She is predeceased by her parents, her husband of 65 years, Rozzie Turner Murfee, and son-in-law, Frank Knowles.

She is survived by her daughters, Gail Knowles of Dahlonega, Georgia and Charlotte (Glen) Strickland of Panama City.  Grandchildren are Amanda Burns of Abington, Virginia and Jessica Strickland and Joshua Strickland, both of Panama City, as well as five great-grandchildren ~ Kiersten, Lizzy, Emma, Joseph and Hudson.

Pat is best remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and cousin, and was much loved by all who knew her.  She was an advanced genealogist of over 50 years, and was known in the neighborhood as one who would care for all cats who appeared at her door.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 16, at Greenwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be at 10:30, immediately before the services.  Those desiring to make a donation in Pat's memory may consider the Bay County Humane Society.
