IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia M.
Coatney-King
August 9, 1932 – November 14, 2019
Patricia M. Coatney-King, 87, was ushered into the loving embrace of her Risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 14th, 2019, in North Richland Hills, Texas. Patricia was born August 9th, 1932, in Tampa, Florida. Patricia cherished her church family of over 60 years at Cedar Grove Baptist Church and ministered joyfully in many ways, including singing in the choir, arranging the flowers, and serving on the building committee. Pat was a loving and devoted wife, Mom, Mema, and Great-Mema to her family—who brought her such joy—and she would think about and pray for them daily. In all she did, her greatest desire was for all to know her Savior's love. She was a wonderful friend to so many who knew her as kind, generous, and carried the heart of Jesus.
Pat was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Joseph Franklin (Frank) Coatney, Sr., of 50 years, and her beloved son, Joseph Franklin (Frank) Coatney Jr., both of whom are rejoicing together with her in Heaven. She is survived by her husband, James (Jim) M. King, Sr., brother, Joseph Ferolito, daughters Pamela Elliott and husband, Stephen, and Patricia (Trish) Coatney Silvey and husband, Jeffrey, Jimmy King Jr. and wife, Candace, Steve King, grandchildren Joey Hendrix and girlfriend Shelly Marlin, Marie Walker and husband, Michael, Matthew Hendrix and wife, Chelsey, Farrah Hendrix Bailey and husband, Brandon, Frank Coatney III and wife, Jackie, Michael Blaho, Olivia Flynn and husband, Chris, James (LJ) Phillips and wife, Sarah, Brian Elliott and wife, Hope, Stephanie Robinson and husband, Zorga, along with many great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Patricia was listening to a recording of her favorite hymn, Follow Me, performed by her girls and surrounded by family, as she went to her eternal Home where all of those who had gone before her were waiting to receive her. Praise be to God!
