PATRICIA LOUISE CLINE CHAVERS

Patricia Louise Cline "Pat" Chavers, 86, of Panama City, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011 in her home. She was born September 19, 1924 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Samuel Andrew & Frances Louise Cline. She was a 1942 graduate of Bay High School. She was a member of the Lynn Haven Church of Christ and former member of the Panama City Jr. Woman's Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Chavers, Sr. and brother, Harvey H. "Buddy" Cline. She is survived by her two sons, Sammy Chavers (Kathy), Gerald Chavers Jr. (Janice); three grandchildren, Missy McCoy (Mark), Christy Wortman (Ben), Katy Johnson (Ben); five great grandchildren, Hilton Wortman, Reese Johnson, Riley Kate Johnson, Parker McCoy, Carter McCoy; brother, James Edward "Sonny" Cline; sister, Barbara Cline Williams (Jack); and sister-in-law, Virginia Chavers Boyette. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Daniel officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 3 – 4 p.m. prior to the service. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Pat Chavers. The family would like to thank Laurie, Laura, Kristin, Roxanne with Covenant Hospice, Dr. Sidney Daffin III, and her special niece, Kathy Thomas for their excellent care during her illness.
