Obituary

Patricia Ann Camp, 86, of Panama City, FL passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 in Pensacola, FL. She was born on May 14, 1936 in Panama City, FL to Herschel and Floree Tew. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, William David Camp; She is survived by her sister, Phyllis Kilpatrick and four children, Steve Camp (Debbie), Terry Camp (MarthaCarol), Pam Mercer, Greg Camp (Pam); seven grandchildren, Brittany Rogers, Cara Brashier, Amy Loria, Megan Cravatt, Lori Mercer, Blake Mercer, Julia Camp; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Ann traveled the world with her husband's career in the US Air Force and lived in England, Germany and several of the states. Still, Panama City was always home where she enjoyed her family and life-long friends.

Ann was a faithful member of St. Andrew Baptist Church of Panama City and Westside Baptist Church of Wewahitchka where she was active with the fellowship of her Sunday School classes and singing in the choir. She loved her Lord, Jesus Christ, and was faithful to share and demonstrate the love of God through her acts of service and devotion to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ann served the community through Meals on Wheels and was generous of her time and compassion to help those in need. Her kind and gentle spirit was evident to all who knew her.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday March 5, 2023 at  4 PM in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Derrick Gerber officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-4 pm prior to the service. Interment will be held in the Barrancas National Cemetery.
