Pansy Tremaine Bjorklund, 94, of Panama City, passed away June 22, 2017 in her home. She was born on June 29, 1922 in Pensacola, Florida to Ed and Malzie Pate. She married Carl Bjorklund in 1941 and worked at Eglin while he was in Europe during World War II. She also helped start MR&R Trucking Company and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother, Edward Eugene Pate, sister, Elaine Daniel; three brother-in-laws, C.R. Daniel, Roy Denson, and H.E. Starr. She is survived by her two daughters, Carla Elaine Bjorklund (Bill Wright) and Cindy Annette Bjorklund; four grandchildren, Heather Melissa Miller (Mark), Justin Carl Lee, Nicholas Allen Sneed and Margaret Tremaine Brogdon; five great grandchildren, Hunter Tyler Brogdon, Andre Lee, Ava Nicole Sneed, Steven Treston Upton, and Henry Allen Sneed; sisters, Zera Denson, Naomi Starr, Dex Pate (Margie), and Kenna Pate (Carol); and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Covenant Hospice, 107 W. 19th St., Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Pansy Bjorklund.
