Pamela Annette Burns

Pamela Annette Burns, 42, of Panama City Beach, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2011. She was born on December 6, 1968 in Dayton, Ohio. She was the 1986 Brigade Commander for the Lee County School System Jr. ROTC. She served as a crew chief for the United States Air Force F-4 Phantom at Homestead Air Force Base from 1986 to 1987. She was currently employed as a store manager for Home Depot on 23rd St. She was responsible for the Women in Leadership; the Diversity and Inclusion and the Developing Leaders Event at Home Depot. She was also involved in the Son of a Jeep group. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Don Burns; son, Kirk Joel Burns; 2 daughters, Hali Cai Burns, Mara Ann Burns; parents, Dick & Joyce Brady; sister, Susan Yvonne Sutphin and husband, Sidney; and a brother, John Edward Brady. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society c/o Breast Cancer Awareness, 4001 W. 23rd St., Suite C., Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Pamela Burns.
