OSMAN LEON LAWRENCE

Osman Leon Lawrence, 90, of Panama City, died Saturday, December 16, 2006 in his home. He was born December 8, 1916 in Lapine, Alabama, and had been a resident of Panama City for 45 years. He was a member of the Jenks Avenue Church of Christ. He was the retired owner of Leon's Donut Hut. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lenwood Lawrence. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Lawrence of Panama City, son, Bobby Lawrence and wife, Mary of Atlanta, GA, daughter, Gloria Bland of Panama City, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brother, James Lawrence and wife, Mary Margaret of Panama City. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Jenks Avenue Church of Christ with Jack Reece officiating. Graveside services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery, Andalusia, Alabama. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-5 p.m. Sunday. Those desiring may make a contribution to the Jenks Avenue Church of Christ Building Fund, 3332 Jenks Ave., Panama City, FL 32405.
