Oscar Marion Smith, 87, of Panama City, passed away on April 21, 2026. He was born on February 4, 1939 in Port St. Joe, Florida. He retired in 2001 from Arizona Chemical after 44 years of service. He was a member and usher at Lynn Haven Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Eda Smith; brother, Meredith Smith; niece, Stephanie Smith; and nephew, Billy Smith. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Perkins Smith; son, Stephen M. Smith; daughter, Kimberly Marie Smith Bevis; four grandchildren, Gatlin Smith (Nicole), Rylan McKenzie Singleton (Corbin), Justin Scott Bevis, Jordan Marie Brown; and one great granddaughter, Anniston Rose Singleton. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 24 at the Lynn Haven Methodist Church with Rev. Terry Tatum officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 3 - 4 p.m. prior to the service.
