ORMAN RAY HOLLEY
Orman Ray Holley, 81, of Panama City, Fla., passed away Saturday, September 13, 2008.
He was born October 21, 1926, in Lockhart, Ala. He was retired from the Naval Coastal Systems Station, where he had been a supply and contracting officer. He was a member of the Panama City Seventh-day Adventist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Francine S. Holley; son, Philip R. Holley; sister, Nell Poston and husband, William; brother, Wayne R. Holley and wife, Sylvia; niece, Joyce Bolin and husband, David, all of Panama City; and nephew, Paul Holley and wife, Deedee, of Braselton, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17 in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Riggs officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers: Lowell Burwell, Richard Caprario, Glenn Clark, Richard Hoover, Jeff Otts and Kenneth Swaine. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 16 at the funeral home from 5 – 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Mr. Holley.
