OPAL BRASWELL DUKES
Opal Nell Braswell Dukes, 75, of Panama City, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Gulf Coast Medical Center. She was born May 31, 1936 in Black, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Dukes and son, Clarence Dukes, Jr. She is survived by her two daughters, Lorraine Grant-Perry and husband Glen Perry, Sherry Cain; grandchildren, James Allen Grant, Tina Grant, Wesley Grant, Lee Cain, Shawna Cain Posar; great grandchildren, Chad Lloyd, Dillan Guyton, Jorja Grant, Katie Owens, Gabriel Posar, all of Panama City; sister, Ruby Alford, of Bloomingdale, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1 – 2 p.m. prior to the service. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the Autism Association or to the American Heart Association in memory of Opal Dukes. You have touched many lives and will be deeply missed. You left love in our hearts and our love for you is forever.
