Norman C. McClenny, 89, of Panama City, died Sunday, April 13, 2008 in a local nursing facility. He was born November 12, 1918 in Headland, Alabama. He was a retired truck driver for Chevron Oil Company. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and the Harry Jackson Masonic Lodge #314. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Louise McClenny. He is survived by a sister, Nina Leonard and a great niece, Flora Sowell and her husband, Ronnie. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Hankins officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. Those desiring may make a contribution to Calvary Baptist Church or Covenant Hospice. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Wells, Max Barton, Charlie Chaffin, Ron Landegent, Festus Rice, Randy Dorriety, Tommy Clark, employees and retirees of Chevron, members of the Harry Jackson Masonic Lodge #314 and York Rite.
