Norman Francis Allemore Jr.

Norman Francis Allemore, Jr., 79, of Port St. Joe, Florida passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013. He was born December 13, 1933 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Norman F. and Anna Belle Allemore, Sr. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He had been a resident of Port St. Joe since 1936 and was a retired foreman for St. Joe Paper Company. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jane Carol Allen. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Vickers Allemore; brother-in-laws, Ferrel O. Allen Jr., Jim Vickers (Patsy), Archie Vickers (Harriett); nieces, Julie Thompson (Billy), Fran Lucas (Mark), Laura Vickers and Dawn Vickers; nephews, Steve Allen (Debbie), Bill Allen (Judy), John Vickers (Lorraine), and David Vickers; cousins, Jimmy Ory and Floyd Hosmer (Katherine). Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. EDT at Holly Hill Cemetery with Rev. David Fernandez officiating.
