Nora Jean Townsend, 67, of Panama City, FL passed away on Thursday April 6, 2017. She was born on September 17, 1949 in Dothan, Alabama to Pat and Betty Seaborn. She worked as a Paraprofessional in the Bay County School System. She was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband, Richard Townsend; daughter, Christi Watson (Kent); son, Brian Townsend (Leslie); three grandsons, Ethan Froelich, Bryson Townsend, Payton Watson; sister, Linda Seaborn; mother-in-law, Alice Townsend; sister-in-law, Sherry Miller (Don); nieces and nephews, Dana Tipton, Patrick Tipton, Dru Miller and Troy Miller. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 am in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Friedman officiating. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-5 pm.
