Nora Jean Davis Eshelman, 85, of Panama City, went home to be with her sweet Jesus, Monday, September 21, 2020. She was born December 16, 1934, in Noma, Florida.
She was a proud graduate of the Tom P. Haney Nursing Program and retired as an LPN. She was a charter member of Central Assembly of God church, where she played the piano, taught Sunday School, worked in Women's Ministries, and was C.A./Youth Leader for a number of years. She took great pride in her children and loved the Lord and served Him since she was a young girl.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carlos and Mildred Keith of Bonifay Florida; her first husband, Curtis Edward Davis and a sister, Gail Hummel both of Panama City. She is survived by her husband, Paul "Bill" Eshelman; four children, Keith Davis (Kathy), Karen Merritt (Brac), Kimberly Hood (Gerald), Curt Davis (Sandra); three stepdaughters, Cindy Eshelman, Debby Eshelman, Carolyn Eshelman; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; numerous step- grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Wilson Funeral Home on Friday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the 11:00 service. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. in the Noma Cemetery, Noma, FL.
