Neva Brooks Davis, 83, of Lynn Haven, FL passed away on Saturday May 13, 2017. She was born on July 11, 1933 in Bear Creek, FL to Dobbie and Julia Brooks. She was a 1952 graduate of Bay High School. She was a devoted Sunday school teacher for 17 years at Dirego Park Assembly of God. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years, James H. Davis; three brothers, Odis, Ovlin and Bob Brooks; and son-in-law, Henry Newsome. She is survived by two daughters, Karen Newsome Jensen (Gene), Rhonda Sharon Davis; two grandchildren, Bradley Newsome (Leah), Denise Newsome; three great grandchildren, Brandon, Anzley and Amelia Newsome; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday May 17, 2017 at 2 pm at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday night from 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home.
