Nellie "Nell" Ruth Scott, 93, of Panama City, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019. She was born July 13, 1926 in Calumet, Oklahoma to Sherman & Florene Bramblett. She was the owner and operator of Scott Decorators. She was a member of St. Andrew Baptist Church, where she attended the Friendship/Shalom Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Scott and a brother, Maurice Bramblett. She is survived by four children, Cheryl Tate (Charles) of Panama City, Buddy Scott (Camie) of Lafayette, LA; Nancy Munn (Rick) of Walnut Grove, AL; Paul Scott (Toshiko) of Douglasville, GA; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Mitchell officiating . The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the Building Fund at St. Andrew Baptist Church in memory of Nell Scott.
