NELL JACKSON McCURDY
Nell Jackson McCurdy, 73, of Lynn Haven, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2008. She was born December 8, 1934 in Panama City and had been a lifelong resident here. She graduated from Bay High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lynn Haven. She was a retired Branch Manager for Bay Bank and Trust Co. She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Wayne McCurdy, sister, Dorothy Wilson and two brothers, Jack and Kenneth Jackson. She is survived by her husband, Billie Joe McCurdy, daughter, Debra Harmon and husband, Kelly, son, Lester Jackson Padgett, Jr., two grandchildren, Tiffany Harmon and Brittany Harmon, sister, Clara Taylor and husband, Levonne, brother-in-law, Harlan Wilson, sisters-in-law, Janice Jackson, Joyce McCurdy, Pauline Morris and husband Robert and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Daniel officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5 – 7 p.m.
