Nannie Mae Calhoun Truluck Pugh, 93, our beloved Auby, of Panama City, FL went to her heavenly home on Tuesday February 15, 2022. She was born on October 7, 1928, in Miller County, GA to Zach and Claudia Mae Calhoun. Nan retired as a supervisory clerk for Southern Bell after 40 years of dedicated service. She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Telephone Pioneers of America. Nan was known for baking and giving away her pecan pies as a thank you to anyone that had helped her. She enjoyed singing in her church choir, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. Nan was preceded in death by her husbands, Fred S. Truluck, James H. "Jim" Pugh; her parents; six siblings, Teice, Juanita, Mary Lou, Luraly, W.C., W.M.; son, Don Truluck and daughter, Lynda Stewart. She is survived by her daughter, Carole "Jeannie" Truluck (Tommy Cato); sister, Shirley Smith; brother, Zack Hunter Calhoun; son, Dan Truluck; daughter in law, Sue Truluck; grandchildren, Kadey Purvis (Jamie), Jenna George, Matthew Truluck, Andy Truluck, David Truluck, Scott Truluck, Suzanne Zech, Michael Truluck, Paige Stewart, Todd Stewart, Jason Reynolds. Auby's special great granddaughters, Isabella Reynolds, Sophie Mae Purvis, Sonja Reynolds, multiple great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family extends great appreciation to the staff of Covenant Hospice, especially her nurse Maggie and to her niece Janice, and caregivers Pollyann, Lucille, and Samantha. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 2 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1-2 pm prior to the service.
