Nanette "Nan" White Pitman, 84, of Panama City, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021.  She was born March 11, 1936 in Michigan.  She worked as a secretary for the International Paper Company and Gulf Coast Community College before substitute teaching for the Bay County School System. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Pitman; a twin sister, Nell White and her parents, Vance & Bennie White.  She is survived by three children, Patty Pitman Helms, Susie Pitman Buckles (Steve), Chuck Pitman (Lisa Fowler); three grandchildren, Garrett Buckles (Mary), Camille Williams (Robbie), Sabrina Buckles and a brother, Vance White Jr. (Nan).  Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 1 p.m. in the Greenwood Cemetery with her nephew, Rev. Daryl Purpera officiating.
