Nancy Fields Zukoski, 71, left our world peacefully on October 1, 2016. Her sense of humor, and one of a kind personality drew people to her, and she left a mark on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Though she never sought recognition or thanks, she touched many lives through her generosity and giving spirit.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Gore Fields, and her father, Marion Spencer Fields.
Nancy is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Dr. Joseph Zukoski, of Ocala, FL; two daughters, Jennifer (Anthony) Collier, of Panama City, Lee (Nate) Walker, of New Orleans, LA; brother, Dr. MS 'Buck' Fields, of Panama City Beach, FL; sister, Pruda Fields, of Crawfordville, FL; three grandchildren, Andrew Collier, Atticus Walker, Fenton Walker; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be a gathering of friends and family at Wilson Funeral Home on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. in the Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity close to her heart: Humane Society of Bay County, 1600 Bay Ave, Panama City, FL 32405 or as an alternative, anonymously do something nice for the next person you see, because that's how she lived her life.
