Nancy Evelyn Paulk, 72, of Panama City, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016. She was born June 25, 1944 in Panama City to James Buford Matthews Sr. & Ovedia Ard Matthews. She was a retired clerk for Walmart. Nancy was a strong and passionate follower of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a dedicated prayer warrior and actively sought out people to add to her "prayer box" on a daily basis. Nancy was very active with the local Council on Aging and shared her Faith in Christ with nearly everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ray Neal Paulk and a brother, James Buford Matthews Jr. She is survived by 2 sons, Ronald Lewis Paulk (Lucy); Randall Todd Paulk; 2 grandchildren, Curtis Paulk, Ayla Paulk; brother, J.D. Nolin (Theresa); sister-in-law, Geraldine "Gerry" Barrow and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-4 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Brotherhood of Christian Law Enforcement Officers, P.O. Box 788, Panama City, FL 32402 http://bcleo.us for the distribution of Bibles to Law Enforcement officers.
