Nadine Joyner Stephens, 95 years old, of Panama City, Fla., passed away Thursday morning at home surrounded by her children on August 17, 2017. She was born on October 21, 1921 to Harper and Annie Mae Joyner. She was a member of The Order of The Eastern Star, Saint Andrew Chapter No. 223 and served as Past Matron and Past Grand Instructor. She is survived by her sons, Jimmy (Josie), Kenny, and Larry (Teresa), seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband of 71 years, Alfred James Stephens, her parents, brothers, Raymond, Ewell, and Herschel; sisters, Myrtice Joyner and Janice Mixon, granddaughter, Stephanie Bruggee. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Covenant Care Hospice for their support and care. Graveside services will be held Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant Care Hospice.
