Myrtle Louise "Lucy" Kyser Brightwell, 96, of Lynn Haven, FL passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019. She was born on June 27, 1922 in Lynn Haven, FL to Perry and Annie Kyser. She was a long time employee at Cogburns Jewelry Store. She was a member of the St. Andrew Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Arthur Brightwell Jr.; brother, Perry Eugene Kyser; sister, Ruth DeSear. She is survived by one sister, Shirley Kyser Folmer (Ray); one brother, Don Kyser (Peggy) and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 2 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Lynn Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1-2 pm prior to the service. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the St. Andrew Baptist Church Benevolence Center in memory of Lucy Brightwell.
