Murray Glen Crotts, 82, of Panama City, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016. He was born on February 28, 1934 in Savannah, Tennessee to William T. Duboise & Kate Adams Crotts. He joined the United States Army in 1952 and served for four years including the Korean War. He was a hard worker with a strong work ethic that he instilled in all of his children. He was known to the family as the "Jack of all trades." He was a faithful member of Central Pentecostal Ministries where he served as usher. He was an encourager and greeter to many members of the church for several years, and he never let anyone pass him by without providing a warm loving hug. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Bill Crotts, Jack Crotts and a sister, Dolores Scott. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Ann Crotts; five children: Glen Allen Crotts, Marshall Glendon Crotts, Murray "Shane" Crotts (Tracy), Missy Guynn (Chad) and Joshua Crotts; grandchildren: Marcus, Emily, April, Marissa, Jacob and Riley Carpenter, Gracie, Lincoln, Brooklyn Guynn; two great-grandchildren; two siblings: Pat Crotts (Peggy) and John Paul Crotts (Nina). Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Central Pentecostal Ministries with Brother Don Shoots officiating. Interment will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Ste. 300, Jackson, FL 32256 in memory of Murray Glen Crotts.
