MONROE BRYAN

Monroe Bryan, 95, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010 in Pensacola, Florida. He was born February 14, 1915 in Bay County and had been a longtime resident. He was Baptist by faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elva Clanton Bryan; parents, Spurgeon & Ella Bryan; brothers, Fulton, Milton and Tilman Bryan; sister, Inez Stanley Pitts and an unnamed son. He is survived by his children, Patricia Hall of Pensacola, FL, Bonnie Brake of Navarre, FL, Ronald Bryan of Jacksonville, AL; grandchildren, Vicki Whisenhurt, James Kennedy (Sherri), James Hall, Kelly Morris (Jon), Ronald Bryan, Jr. (Dislay); great grandchildren, Douglas Settle, Jarrod & Brandi Kennedy, Alex & Ella Morris, Catalina Bryan, Lia Sager; great great grandchildren, Justin and Dominick; and sister, Betty Shields (Watson). Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday in Millville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. prior to the graveside service.
