Millard H. Gillman, 80, of Panama City, FL passed away on September 19,2017. He was born on July 25, 1937 in Ponce de Leon, FL to Melvin and Letha Gillman. Millard served in the U.S. Army Florida National Guard for 7 years. He was a Patrolman with the Florida Highway Patrol for 27 years. He also worked for the Bay County Sheriff's Department for 11 years. He was a member of Family of God Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Martha Sue Gillman; three children, Stevie Gillman, Rena Gillman, Pamela Sue Grissom (Ron); two wonderful caregivers, Stephanie Phillips, Porsha Yarbrough; six grandchildren, Farrel Luiz (Robert), Lindsey Grissom, Waylon Welch, Kayla Welch (Clay), Jacob Gillman, Brandie Gillman; five great grandchildren, Warren Brown, Kaden Gillman, Jaden Savoir, Dakota Luiz, Lani Luiz; two sisters, Laura Mae Baxley (W.T.), Patty Lou Havaard (Marvin); and numerous of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday September 21, 2017 at 2 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Hodges and Rev. Garry West officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 pm prior to the service. Graveside services will follow in the Leonia Cemetery, Holmes County, FL at 4:30 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to the Family of God Baptist Church, 4101 West 21 ^st Street, Panama City, FL 32405.
