MILDRED STEPHENS PHILLIPS
Mildred Stephens Phillips, age 81, of Parker, Florida, died March 11, 2007. She was born in Skipperville, Alabama and had been a resident of Bay County since 1945. She was a retired civil service employee at Tyndall AFB. She was preceded in death by her father, Alto C. Stephens, mother, Urbanna Hughes Stephens, 4 brothers, Boyd Stephens, Burke Stephens, Holman Stephens, and Calvin Stephens. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, James E. "Jim" Phillips of Parker, one dear son, James K. Phillips of Efland, NC, niece, Beth Stephens May of Tallahassee, 4 sisters-in-law, Bessie Barton of Panama City, Georgia Mae Watson of Cottondale, FL, Lucille Phillips of Wausau, FL, Lois Phillips of Gritney, FL, several caring nieces and nephews, all Parker neighbors and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Warren officiating. Interment will follow in the Parker Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, anyone desiring may make a donation to United Methodist Children's Home, P.O.
