MILDRED WANDA KENNINGTON

Mildred Wanda Kennington, 86, of Port St. Joe, Florida, died October 25, 2006. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Port St. Joe, the St. Joe Country Club and the Garden Club of Port St. Joe. She was a homemaker, who loved playing bridge, loved to knit and crochet and was an artist. She is survived by two daughters, Wanda Wilder and husband Thomas G. of Panama City, Ellen Gilbert and husband Jim of Panama City, son, George L. Kennington III and wife Gayle of Port St. Joe, sister, Marilyn Gray of Tallahassee, 10 grandchildren, Thomas Wilder Jr. of Panama City, Jeffrey Wilder and wife Tracy of Weatherford, Texas, Willis Wilder of Jacksonville, Florida, Deborah Collinsworth and husband Rodger, Robert Broege and wife Dawn, Tisha Gilbert, Tonya Mooy, all of Panama City, Crystal English and husband Deryk of Winter Haven, Florida, Alice Stewart and husband David, Wade Kennington and wife Frankie, all of Panama City, 9 great grandchildren, Rachel and Wesley Wilder of Weatherford, Texas, Lilliana and Aidan Kennington of Panama City, Sabryn and Seymoure English of Winter Haven, Florida, Shannon Stewart of Panama City, Jarod and Trevor Mooy of Tallahassee, Florida. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. CST in Holly Hills Cemetery in Port St. Joe with Rev. David Fernandez officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. CST. Those desiring to may make a contribution to the Emerald Coast Hospice, 2925 Martin Luther King Blvd. Panama City, Florida 32405 in memory of Mildred Wanda Kennington.
