Mildred Joyce Hayes, 98, of Panama City, FL went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 29. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Elmer Joe Hayes and her grandson, Kevin Hayes Geiger. She is survived by her son, Harold Joe and his wife, Sharon; daughter, Linda Geiger and her husband, Clark F. Geiger; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mildred was a long standing member of First Baptist Church, Panama City and a member of the LLL Sunday School Class. She was a traditional homemaker who loved serving her family and friends and serving her community doing God's work. She will be greatly missed. The family will have a Celebration of Life in memory of Mildred at a later date due to the restrictions on travel.
