Mildred Earlene Dean, 73, of Panama City, FL, passed away on Wednesday October 12, 2016. She was born on April 8, 1943 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Edward and Mildred Smith. She was a retired correctional officer for the Washington County Jail. She had been a resident of Panama City for the past 35 years and was a member of the Guardian Ad Litem. She was a part of the National Association of Social Workers, Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association, Florida Polices Benevolent Association (State Correctional Officers Chapter), and the Bay, Franklin, Gulf Healthy Start Coalition, Inc. She is survived by 3 children, Sherry Noles (Mark); Robert Harris, William Harris; five brothers, a sister, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-5 p.m. prior to the service. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the Panama City Nursing Home 924 W 13 th Street, Panama City, FL 32401 in Mildred Dean's memory.
