MICKEY W. McNEILL
Rejoice! It Is Well With My Soul. Mickey W. McNeill of Panama City, Florida, went to join her heavenly family on January 14, 2012. Mickey was born on April 6, 1924, in Summerton, South Carolina, but traveled extensively as a military wife. In 1965, after her husband John's military retirement, they made their home in Panama City, FL, where she was actively involved with the community.
She worked many years as the Clerk of Small Claims Court for Bay County, and Mickey focused her life as a volunteer for her church. As a member of Wallace Memorial and a founding member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Mickey had a special gift and fondness for the Visitation Ministry where she worked tirelessly to brighten the lives of others. As a devoted member, she sang in the church choir, participated in many Bible studies, volunteered with her church circle, and never missed an opportunity to witness her faith. She looked forward each year to the Grace Scottish Festival where she proudly wore the McNeill tartan and enjoyed the church festivities.
Mickey was an amazing Mother and Grandmother responsible for the Christian values of her children and grandchildren who depended on her for spiritual guidance and teaching.
Mickey is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Kathy and Walter Fuller and Kitty and Matthew Hodges. She took special delight in being a grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by grandchildren Neill Fuller, Michael and Cynthia Fuller, John Hodges, and Julie and Jared Croom, as well as, great grandchildren Preslie, Brody and Sydney.
