MICHAEL WAYNE SWARTZ, SR.
Michael Wayne Swartz, Sr., 52, of Youngstown, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2009 in his home. He was born April 30, 1957 in Houston, Texas. He was a project manager for Ponderosa Builders. He was preceded in death by his wife, Collen Swartz, mother, Joyce Gillespie and brother, Steve Swartz. He is survived by his three daughters, Christi Jensen and husband Tony, Michelle Floyd and husband Steven, Lorra Mead and husband Brian; son, Michael Swartz, Jr. and wife Veronica Mitchell; seven grandchildren; Matthew Jensen, Mikey Wayne Swartz, III., Kaleb Swartz, Breleigh Floyd, Sarra Swartz, Cody Swartz, Brandon Mead; two brothers, Donnie Swartz, Pete Swartz; two sisters, Brenda Ermel, Becky Swartz; best friends, Steve Kimmel, Jim and Reid Lewis, George Bass; numerous nieces and nephews and his dog, Sadie Bug. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow the service. The family requests that you dress casual or wear your best Tony Stewart attire. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
