Michael Wayne Pearson

November 23, 1957-December 27, 2023

Mike "Papa" age 66 passed away at home on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones.  He was born on November 23, 1957 in Muncie, Indiana.  He was always an adventurer and loved life.  He left Indiana in his early twenties for California.  A few years later he moved and settled in Panama City, Florida.  He was the guy that you called when you needed help with anything.  He could do it all.  Mike was a very loving husband and father.  His family meant everything to him.  He had a huge heart and felt things deeply.  There is a big hole in our hearts that he always filled.  He will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Peggy Sandifer Pearson, his son, Kyle D. Pearson and wife, Natalie and their children, Madison, Presley, Carleigh, Anniston and Camden; his son, Chad Michael Pearson and his two daughters, Adalae and Lacey; his sister, Laura Pearson Newkirk and her husband, Kevin and their children, Brent Newkirk and Brooke Haley. He will be missed but forever with us.

The family will receive friends at the Wilson Funeral Home on Sunday January 7, 2024 from 3-5 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in honor of Mike Pearson to the American Cancer Society.
