Michael "Mike" David Knight, 66, of Lynn Haven, FL passed away on Monday January 23, 2017 in his home. He was born on March 19, 1950 in Panama City, FL to W.D. and Lillian Knight. He was a 1968 graduate of Bay High School. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Mike worked with Ken Brock at Brock's Plaza Gulf and also the Florida Division of Forestry for a number of years. He then went to work as a Shop Foreman for Gulf Asphalt Corporation for over 27 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Ronnie Brannon.  Mike is survived by his wife of 48 years, Evelyn McBride Knight; two sons, Michael Knight (Lana), Jason Knight (Betty); six grandchildren, Michael Hetzler, Kurtis Knight, Jacob Lowrey, Alecia Craig (Justin), Dylan Knight, Kaitlyn Knight; great grandson, Hoyt Michael Craig; brother, Steve Knight (Tanis); sisters, Dianne Brannan, Nita Williams (Donnie); brother-in-law, Phillip McBride; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Friday January 27, 2017 at 10 am in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Lana Knight and Steve Knight officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday January 26, 2017 from 6-8 pm. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Buchanan, Bobby Callahan, Allan Bense, Derwin White, Richard Schwartz, Ricky Smith, Phillip McBride, Bobby Sullivan, James "Pee Wee" Rowe, and Mr. Charles Hilton.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Covenant Care Hospice of Panama City 107 W 19 ^th Street Panama City, FL 32405 or Wounded Warriors Project P.O.
