Michael Eugene Cannady, 64, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, in Panama City, Florida on July 6th, 2023. He was born November 3, 1958, in Marianna before moving to Panama City. He passed following a short but hard-fought battle against cancer. Mike was always working hard to provide for his family, ensuring the safety and love of the family he prayed of one day having. Michael is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Cannady, and nephew, Tyler Bundy; he is leaving behind his loving wife, Joanne Cannady; and children, Linzy and Shane Cannady, his mother, Rosa Cannady; sisters, Cynthia Cannady and Julie Owen (Keith); brother, Mark Cannady (Sandy); along with many nieces and nephews. Mike was a loving and caring son, husband, father, and friend. Michael will be remembered forever for the joy and laughter he brought into our lives. He was a man of many stories, and through these stories and memories, he will live on. Memorial services will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. prior to the service.  Those desiring may make memorial donations to the American Cancer Society in memory of Michael Cannady.
