Melvin E. (Bud) Killion

1925-2014

Bud Killion, 88 of Panama City Beach FL., passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Born in Sweet Springs, Mo., he married and raised his family in Louisville, Ky. Bud and his wife Jevetta moved to Panama City, FL in 1991 to be near their young grandchildren.

Bud owned and operated a Convenient Food Market and later retired as owner of a Pepperidge Farm Cookie Distributorship in Lexington, Ky. He was an avid Jazz musician having played trumpet in Dixieland Jazz bands in and around the greater Louisville, Ky. area.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jevetta Evans Killion. He is survived by his two sons, Brad and wife Donna Killion, of Panama City Beach, Clay A. Killion of Phoenix, AZ; two grandsons, Chad Killion of Viera, FL and Seth Killion of Panama City Beach, FL; niece, Missy Liberman; and nephew, Steve Killion of Nashville, TN.

A celebration of his life will be held by family members at a later date.
