MAZIE D. LEMIEUX

Mazie D. Lemieux, 79, of Southport, died Monday, June 16, 2008 in her home. She was born July 21, 1928 in Southport. She was a beautician for 48 years and loved gardening, flowers and her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Southport. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Hubert Lemieux, parents, J.F. & Jessie Mason, and brother, Lowell F. Mason. She is survived by three children, Larry F. Lemieux, Sr., and wife Beverly, of Southport, Janice Durham and husband Robert, of Smyrna, Tennessee, Mitchell Lemieux, and fiancé Heather Prestridge of Panama City Beach, six grandchildren, Larry Lemieux, Jr. and wife Crystalann, Ryan Lemieux, Christopher Durham, David Durham and wife Denise, Jana Blitch and husband Ben, Tara Lemieux, three great grandchildren, Zachary Durham, Isaac Durham, Brylee Durham, sister, Mary Clark, brother, Paul Mason and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Southport with Rev. Mike Shortt officiating. Interment will follow in Southport Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m.
